This year the US Open is the third major of the year after Tiger Woods’ victory at the Masters and Brooks Koepka’s retention of the PGA Championship. Now Koepka is trying to amazingly win the US Open for the third year in a row.

We’re hoping that golf’s current greatest will give him a worthy fight. Surely McIlroy will win another major? And Dustin Johnson has unfinished business at Pebble Beach after his famous 2010 US Open final round meltdown.

Here’s how to watch the 2019 US Open golf, even if you don’t have Sky Sports.

When is the 2019 US Open golf?

The US Open starts on Thursday 13 June and finishes on Sunday 16 June at Pebble Beach golf course in California, USA.

The first round on Thursday tees off at 6:45am local time, which is 2:45pm in the UK.

How to watch the US Open on TV

Sky Sports is showing the US Open exclusively in the UK. You can watch all the action by tuning into the Sky Sport Golf channel.

You can sign up for Sky Sports here

How to watch the US Open online

If you don’t have Sky, you can watch every minute of the US Open golf by purchasing a Now TV temporary pass. Now TV allows you access to Sky Sports for a day, week or month.

Passes are one off, non-contract payments. Check out the prices here, where a week pass is only £14.99 and will bag you all the US Open if you buy before it starts.

If you go for a month, you'll be able to enjoy even more Sky Sports action after the US Open finishes.

How to watch the US Open outside of the UK

If you are a Sky Sports or Now TV subscriber but are on holiday, you can still watch the US Open on these services using a VPN.

A VPN unlocks otherwise geo-blocked content – so using one will allow you to tune into the US Open from anywhere in the world.

We recommend NordVPN. Its plans are reliable and affordable and once installed, you can run Sky Sports online or Now TV as normal.
