PC hard drive usage after factory reset

Hi, I'm a computer novice! I have just done a factory reset on my pc as I had very little disk space left which was confusing as I had very little in the way of programs or files. After the factory reset the pc automatically installed windows 10. I went straight to the c drive to see how much space was used and it is just under 17gb. Is this normal? Many thanks in advance.

Yes that's pretty good once you have installed a few apps and data accumulates in the USer folder it will increase. I have used about 30G however my user folders are moved to another drive and contain alot more
