I will declare an interest of being a Remain voter, but one who accepts the democratic vote of the electorate. The government had 2 years to announce their strategy, then the PM gave the cabinet a short time to take or leave a strategy that was totally different to the one worked on by Davis. The far right people like Rees Mogg purport to have the correct policy , but they completely fail to address the N Ireland border issues, and he does not represent my views. There is a good chance rhat Mogg et al will hasten a Corbyn Government. I think that May’s plan should be given a chance. Boris has shown how unsuitable he is as a potential leader. Those that thought that Brexit would be simple are seeing how wrong they are.

Dead Ringers, on Radio 4 last week, said he would go.

All we need now is Michael Gove to replace. We would then be the laughing stock of the World and not just Europe.

I've not met anyone who thought it would be simple - it was always going to be fraught with problems.

I agree with you that the best way forward is to give Theresa May's Plan a chance. Boris as a leader would be a nightmare, as would Rees Mogg - neither of them are in touch with grass-roots feelings on this.

Since Theresa May has taken over the role of prime minister, in most cases, whatever can go wrong has gone wrong. Mainly by circumstance.

But she has proven that as many would have walked away ( Cameron ), she has the backbone to keep going.

That must be to do with what circles we live in, I'd say that 90% of the people I know or come into contact with are still of the opinion that we should we out and have fully taken back control by now!

Without wanting to reopen the old arguments... Does anyone still have any confidence in anyone in government, or opposition or any party or any cleaner at Parliament to deliver a successful Brexit?

As things are, no.

As for the Tories delivering a successful Brexit, too many of them are too hung up on placing their Tory ideology above what is best for the country. May's current plan is the best hope we have of a strong economy in the future, given that abandoning Brexit is not going to happen.

I have no confidence on any Political party in England and cant even think of anyone that would make a good leader.

I am afraid top politicians in England are few and far between.

Who can we have confidence in voting for. None that i can think off.

the question asked at the weekend was will Brexit bankrupt the uk and I have to say maybe we are already halfway there with the amount we borrow and have to pay back.

Put tax up to pay for the NHS is on the agenda and the newest one is to put Tax up again to take care of the elderly.

Of course the usual way out of it is to have another big increase on fuel Tax which has already been mentioned but would the public be willing to pay more.

I think the latest patch up for Brexit is a red herring and will not be accepted and a hard Brexit is the main choice.

The tory party would have to vote for it or they would all be out of work. And labour may well win another election which would probably bring Chaos to the country and probably make it worse than what it is now.

No dilly dallying lets have a hard Brexit and get this charard over with.

I am afraid your wish seems to have come true as Dominic Rabb has just been appointed to the post. It's now heading for a hard Brexit I fear. Why are we doing this to ourselves??
