Monitor does not display BIOS

So I have been trying to format my hard drive for about a week now and whenever I restart and try to enter the bios my monitor displays ''signal lost'' error,I have tried with several hdmi wires and two different monitors but nothing really changes.Looking through forums I found someone suggesting to check the bios line through msinfo32 and make sure that it is set to UEFI but mine is set to Legacy, any ideas? Thanks in advance!

No drivers for the monitor HDMI if you have formatted the drive.

If you have onboard graphics you will need to connect to that rather than the graphics card.

if only a graphics card you may find that you need to connect via VGA
