Just got this e-mail from E-Bay I take it that it is ok to delete. I just had a Chrome update about 30 minutes ago so not sure if genuine as I had one last week as well.
What do you recon Bin it.
Well, if you didn't make a payment, and you have checked your PayPal account (if you have one) then yes, bin it.
Ok Thanks Forum Editor it looked genuine to me. And was a bit worried as I had just updated Chrome.
To be in the safe side contacted Ebay and they have confirmed what you say.
Also it says dear customer, not your name
Ventad is correct, Paypal always address you by name
Before deleting forward it to [email protected]
hastelloy yes did that.Looking into it they said but should be ok If I never opened it.
Unfortunately those that do open it have had Payments taken from their bank accounts. it seems this one has been doing its rounds for a few years.
Unfortunately my eyesight is not as good as it used to be and i missed the "it says dear customer, not your name" Will use my magnifying glass in future.
Will use my magnifying glass in future.
Govan1x, all you need now is a deerstalker hat & meerschaum pipe to solve these despicable crimes ;o]
I am on the case Watson.
Not sure if I just got hit with another one or not but Malwarebytes just jumped in and stopped e-mail or something on it.
I now have this when opening mallwarebytes premium and not sure what to do with it.
Add web exclusions for epl/paypal-comunications.com. Now some say this is genuine from Paypal others say it is a scam. So what am I supposed to do with it on Malwarebytes Allow it. Deny it.
Will post the email shortly looks ok to me but why would malwarebytes block it.
Now I cant see anything wrong with it. Just worried that Malwarebytes jumped in and stopped something on it.
