iMac 24 Early 2009 - Wish to upgrade 1. Memory From 4GB to 8GB -2X4GB. 2. OS - I have Snow Leopard 10.6.8. Which OS SHOULD I UPGRADE TO? 3. Can I upgrade the Graphic Card? Can change the Graphic Card. Can I change the Hard Drive From 460 to 1TB

You can upgrade to El Capitan, and 8GB Ram easily.

You can upgrade the HDD. You can upgrade the graphics but you may see little or no improvement.

To upgrade the HDD and graphics you will need to remove the screen, videos online can take you through this.

bremner, Thanks for your prompt reply. Removing the screen could be a bit risky. I have upgraded my PCs about 9 years ago before I bought my iMac. To buy a new iMac cost quite a bit now. yes, I have noticed these Videos. I will have to make sure I buy these parts from a reliable vendor. Thanks again

To be brutally honest. Unless you are using Memory Intensive Software, you will be wasting your money

I totally disagree in respect of the Ram which is easy to do, two screws under the iMac and will make a noticeable difference.

The OS is a free easy upgrade and should be done.
