Fitness trackers have really taken off over the past few years thanks to the great new offerings by Fitbitt and others. They're topping wishlists for both sports-fanatics and casual get-fit user alike, so we here at Tech Advisor have the lowdown to help you choose the best Fitbit deal for you.

Which Fitbit is best?

You'll probably have heard of Fitbit, but that doesn't narrow down the choice of trackers too significantly as there are lots of models to choose from.

You'll find that most Fitbits are worn on the wrist, but there are some that you can place in your pocket or clip to your clothes, for example. Features you'll need to consider include call and text notifications, heart rate monitoring, waterproofing, GPS and compatibility with your smartphone.

Our favourite fitness tracker is the Fitbit Charge 2, but there are  other Fitbit options available to choose from including the Fitbit Flex 2, Fitbit Alta, Fitbit Blaze and more. If you want to find out the differences between them, visit our Fitbit buying guide.

You might also want to consider whether a smartwatch is better for you, and there are plenty of Smartwatch deals to be had. There are also Fitbit alternatives, and likewise some brilliant rival fitness tracker deals.
