Tech Advisor's 25-year legacy began in August 1995 when we launched PC Advisor print magazine. The website followed in 1996, and in June 2017 we rebranded as Tech Advisor.
The rebrand was an acknowledgement of the changing tech habits of general consumers, and that what users regard as 'personal computers' for daily use has changed beyond recognition: desktop PCs and laptops are increasingly being replaced with phones and tablets.
Of course, we still cover all types of personal computers, but our coverage has expanded to new and emerging tech verticals: from wearable tech and smart home products to streaming services, entertainment, gaming and other cool new gadgets and accessories. Tech Advisor attracts buyers of all experience levels across the whole range of consumer technology - and now we cater to small- and micro-businesses, too.
